Bernd, what exactly do you do at ROBINSON?
As a TOP expert and brand ambassador, it’s my job to provide guests with the perfect experience on the water. I can share my skills with others and make them happy by helping them experience success. When I’m not out on the water, I also handle staff, equipment and consulting. My goal is to ensure that our range of offers always meet the highest quality standards.

What is it about ROBINSON that you personally love?
ROBINSON is simply a wonderful product. What we offer is infinitely valuable. This is where freedom, lightheartedness, joy and relaxation come together. You won’t find anything like it anywhere else. What does ‘Share the moment’ mean to you?
The community here is one of a kind. No one is alone – special moments are simply shared together. And still talked about over dinner. When playing sports, but especially out on the water, it really brings people together.

How do you come up with new ideas, for example, for sporting events?
We often sit down together and think about what our guests like and what has worked well in the past. We take a closer look at that, optimise it and offer the end result to our guests. From time to time, we also try out new things. Our many years of experience have taught us what everyone enjoys. One highlight, for example, is photos and videos of the events on the water. I always have my GoPro with me; I surf behind the participants and then edit the footage. That way, they have something to show off when they get home.
Are there any special moments of happiness you’d like to share with us?
I recently witnessed a regular customer experience a real sense of accomplishment on the water. I’ve known this woman from numerous past holidays now, and I know what she finds difficult and what she’s had to struggle with. This time, after a few little tips from me, she finally stood on the board and was over the moon. At times like these, I think: ‘Wow, that was really worth it!’ And this makes me happy.
How do you motivate yourself?
The people around me are an incredible source of motivation. Both the guests and my colleagues at ROBINSON. And, of course, the unbeatable locations: warm temperatures, blue skies, delicious food, beautiful rooms – it’s hard not to feel motivated.
