THE RELAXED NEW START

Mango trees, birdsong and a sky that is slowly opening up again. March brings the change: out of the rainy season and into the season of light clothing and parasols.

A perfect month to open the season.

April – May

THE “POSTCARD PHASE”

Vietnam is now showing its best side. The temperatures are summery, but not yet oppressive, and the air is pleasantly dry. Rain? Rarely.

The perfect time for excursions, temple tours or an outdoor Pho.

JUNE – AUGUST

PURE TROPICAL SUMMER

Summer in central Vietnam doesn’t do things by halves. The sun shines as if it had a standing order – and temperatures like to rise above the 30 degree mark.

Perfect for those who are never out and about without sunglasses.

SEPTEMBER

A WARM SHOWER

Now the sun and rain mix happily together. The temperatures remain tropical, the light is softer, the green more intense. It’s as if Vietnam is taking a deep breath now – after the hot summer.

THE “GREEN SEASON”

During these months, nature shines in a fresh green. The rainy season brings more frequent rainfall, but this also gives the region a special charm.

Day 2: Architecture that grows into the clouds

You become very small in the Ba Na Hills. The Golden Bridge spans the valley, supported by giant hands. There are also caves and spectacular Buddha statues to marvel at in the Marble Mountains.

Day 3: Hello Hoi An

The old town of Hoi An is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. No wonder! You stroll through narrow alleyways full of history, cross the famous Japanese bridge, visit markets and the Tan Ky House.

Day 4: ROBINSON NAM HOI AN

A day off is a must. Time to enjoy your own personal club highlight. How about a Body&Mind course, a round of padel or simply lying on the miles of sandy beach?

Day 5: The shadow of history

Vietnam shows its serious, deeply moving side here. The Ky Ahn tunnel is a reminder of the country’s war-torn past. And the strength of cohesion.

Day 6: On the trail of the gods

Ancient bricks, covered in moss and reclaimed by the jungle. The My Son sanctuary comprises several Hindu temples that tell of the former Champa empire.

Which payment methods work best?
Vietnamese dong are king. You need cash for markets and street food. ATMs? There are plenty!
Can I just take photos in the temple?
It is better to ask beforehand or look out for a sign. Some temples allow it, others do not.
How do I get from A to B outside the club?
The Grab app (the Asian Uber) is cheap and reliable. For short distances, you can also use a scooter or bicycle.
